Marine Supply of Winter Haven is truly a family business. Originally opened by Gerald Emry in 1952, it is now a third generation business. Gerald’s son, Richard Emry now owns the popular and respected home grown business with two of his children, David Emry and Tricia Gurr. Marine Supply was one of the first Mercury dealerships in Florida set up by Karl Kiekhaefer, founder of Mercury. For over 6 decades, Marine Supply has been a successful central Florida marina. The former bait shop and boat rental business has evolved into a modern full-service dealership. “We have sold boats to three generations of clients,” Richard said proudly. “Since we are a small business we have had to build an excellent reputation with quality service and products.” The high quality of service and friendly atmosphere at Marine Supply account for the high number of repeat customers year after year.
